Yes, the Solar Mosaic Square Bollard Light will automatically turn on as the night approaches and turn off at daybreak. Ensure the power button (found underneath the top cap) is switched to ON position. If it is off, the light will not turn on at night.

Allow the solar bollard light to charge in direct sunlight for at least 8 hours before the first use. Please note that is 8 hours of full direct sunlight. An average day may see max 3-4 hours of optimal sunlight, so an elapsed charging time of at least 3 days before activating the bollard is ideal. During this charging time, ensure the bollard’s power switch (underside of top cap) is switched OFF so it doesn’t dissipate stored energy at night.
